Will is going to the State Bible Drill Competition!
We are so proud of our Will! He has been participating in our church Bible Drill which meets every Sunday at church and I have become a leader and learned so much too!
Bible drill is a program that challenges the kids to memorize and locate certain Scriptures. They have to be able to find any book in the Bible, Memorize 25 chosen verses of Scripture and locate numerous key passages like the Ten Commandments and the Sermon on the Mount in the Bible all within 10 seconds.
He competed in our church drill and qualified to go to the Association Drill today and will be going to the State Bible Drill on April 26th! WooHoo!
Pray he keeps his composure and confidence at the state drill. As there will be LOTS of people in the audience and it can be very intimidating to the kids. :)

We are so PROUD of you with your success with the Bible Competition! This is something that will stay with you for the rest of your life and help you to continue to grow as a fine Christian man.
Both of us participated in Bible drills when we were younger and members of the Baptist Church in Shreveport. We still remember the great times we had.
We wish you the best of luck (it's not really luck when you work hard and are doing God's work)! Please study hard and enjoy (above all!) what you are doing.
We can't wait to hear how the association participation goes. Please keep us posted on how you are doing in the meantime.
